Forged from multiple generations of musical traditions, Mixtape 216 brings together six unique personalities, all driven to music through different inspirations and musical tastes. Some might remember the energy that it took to hit record when your favorite song played on the radio and the excitement that came with trading those tapes with friends as they discovered new music and expanded their horizons. It’s that variety and passion that brought them together to challenge the system, breaking the mold of what it means to be a “cover band.” Refusing to be locked into a single genre, Mixtape 216 sets out to pay tribute to songs that have spoken to us, and all generations over the years.
